In 2 days we will be entering Slovakia. It has been a hard slog through Bavaria the people are so stern looking nobody smiles. Then once we were throygh the bible belt it was like a weight being lifted .
The cycling has been quite hard because of the heat 38c today. The campsotes have been very good some exceptional . For the past few days we have been cycling with a garman guy named Dieter nice guy but he has gone his own way now. Still cant get a lead for my camera bummer.

We are all most through Germany tomorrow Austria. It has been good weather and a mix of cycling with a few hills and gravel trails thrown into the mix. We have teamed up with a german guy named Dieter which has been lucky to have a native speaker. The temprature today in passau is 35c lucky its a day off the bike.
Yeh finaly out of france we have arrived in Basel. So what did we do went for a ride and do 3 countries in 1 day (super cyclists ) did i hear you say. No oh ok all 3 in about a 100 metres. So we are on our merry way tomorrow campsite is nice but the manager is a ( merchant banker).

Just a short post its freezing here at Dole. We keep meeting a french couple also doing the Ev6 to Romainia we have been leap frogging since la roche bernard. There names are Jeanette and Stefan. We hope to get a good look at there map as it is better than ours.

Well we have have had some stunning weather. As a rough estimate about another 4or5 days left in france the we then reach the swiss border. I have enjoyed riding along the canals of france the tracks have been good on the whole . At the moment we are camping at Palinges lovely site friendly staff.
We have had mixed weather the past couple of days . But now it seems to be settling hot days cold nights. I have noticed on the loire a boat design I have never seen anywhere else. I believe its called a forteanu. Anyway back to cyclng we are now 5km north of Nevers at a dodgy campsite so its keep one eye on the gear time.
The ferry was cancelled due to the weather but those nice people at condor and britainia ferrys sorted us out with a cabin on a bigger boat.we had to train it from poole to pompey. One mention for the campsite at poole peartree camp lovely welcome friendly helpful staff. Hard 3 days ride down to start first night freebee at painpont just aswell we were bitten by critters most og the stay . Syay at la roche st bernard and then on to Nantes great campsite good beer. Now at montjean sur loire nice great ride today sunshine for once having a cuppa out of my mug from the lads at lifecycle . Hi guys
This is me with my bike loaded and ready to roll.Im not in cycling gear till tommorrow morning this is just to save me hassle next day and not having to think first thing.
Well one week to go everything’s prepared money insurance etc. The weather looks good for now at least. I have had a practice pack got things down too about 9 kg so im pleased with that. Will have some photos to follow as soon as I work out how to do it.
